Weddings

Preparing for a Christ-centered marriage is one of the most meaningful journeys you will ever take. We are honored to walk alongside couples as they prepare for covenant marriage before God.

The Wedding Process

Step 1 — Submit a Wedding Inquiry

Both individuals complete the Wedding Inquiry Form separately so our pastors can learn more about you, your relationship, and your desired wedding plans. You can access the form here.

Step 2 — Meet With a Pastor

A New Hope pastor will review your questionnaire and may schedule an initial conversation to discuss your relationship, spiritual life, and readiness for marriage.

Step 3 — Premarital Preparation

Couples will complete premarital counseling and marriage preparation as directed by the officiating pastor. This process is designed to strengthen and prepare couples for lifelong covenant marriage.

Step 4 — Plan Your Ceremony

Work with your pastor to coordinate ceremony details, rehearsal scheduling, venue logistics, and any additional planning needs.

Step 5 — Celebrate Your Wedding Day

Enter into covenant marriage surrounded by family, friends, and the church as you begin your life together before God.

What's Partnership?

Partnership is the pathway to step deeper into the life and mission of New Hope. It’s more than joining a group—it’s choosing to link arms with our church family in unity, purpose, and shared responsibility. As a Partner, you embrace the vision God has given our church, use your gifts to strengthen the body, and commit to helping us reach Plymouth County and beyond with the gospel.

Biblical Marriage Policy

Because marriage is a sacred covenant before God, all weddings hosted or officiated through New Hope Chapel follow our Biblical Marriage Policy which outlines the purpose of marriage, premarital preparation, ceremony standards, and pastoral oversight of the wedding process.

What comes with Partnership?

By becoming a Partner, you step deeper into the life of the church. Partners participate in Partners Meetings, where we share vision, direction, and important updates about the ministry. With this greater level of commitment and accountability also comes a greater level of opportunity — including roles like Life Group leading, certain serve team positions, and other leadership opportunities reserved for those who have taken this step.
